Alex Fedirko: Sears Tower Paintings on Display

The place where Alexander Fedirko’s (BFA 2003) Sears Tower paintings were conceived, are now their temporary home. From January 14 — April 30, 2011, Fedirko’s four Chicago Landscapes, painted from the perspective of the observation deck at the Sears tower on January 19, 2009, will be on display as part of a three person exhibition, including Chicago artists Roland Kulla and Mike Baur, in the Lobby of the Willis Tower. Two of the Chicago Landscapes, North and South views, were recently featured in the most recent Midwest edition of ​“New American Paintings #89”. Best viewing times are during the week at business hours, with limited viewing on the weekend.
