The Stats: Stamps Grads + Creative Careers

Data from the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP) suggests that individuals who work in design and the arts report some of the highest levels of job satisfaction in America. Nationwide, 74% of individuals who pursued a creative path in their undergraduate studies end up working in their field of study at some point, showing just how hungry 21st Century employers may be for a creative workforce.

For some Stamps students, graduate school plays a critical next step” in their future. About 7% of Stamps undergrads opt to immediately go on to graduate school to deepen their creative practice or acquire additional skills.

On average, it takes Stamps grads about six months of active job hunting to land their first out-of-college job. This is on par with the national average. And well worth the wait.
