Anne Mondro Presents in Minnesota, and Teaches and Exhibits in Brazil
From April 28 — May 1, Assistant Professor Anne Mondro is presenting at the Society For The Arts In Healthcare’s 21st Annual International Conference hosted by The University of Minnesota. She is speaking about her A&D community engagement course in a presentation entitled.“Bridging the Studio & Hospital: Developing a Studio Art Course on Creativity in the Healthcare Setting.”
Anne is also travelling to Brazil in May, where from May 13 – 16 she is conducting a four-day workshop at NOVA JÓIA, located in the countryside of São Paulo. Her workshop proposal, titled Memory, will explore the notion of memory in creating contemporary jewelry. On May 24, she is conducting a workshop at Atlier Marcia Pompei on how to photo etch and emboss precious metal.
From May 6th — 20th Anne has a Solo Exhibition at NOVA JÓIA, São Paulo, as well as at the Escola de Arts Ciencias e Humanidades da Universidade de Sao Paulo, where she is also presenting a lecture on Contemporary Jewelry in the United States.
