Benjamin Winans Named Chapman Cultural Center Southern Studies Fellow

Benjamin Winans (MFA ​’21) has been named the Chapman Cultural Center Southern Studies Fellow in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He will spend the next 9 months working in collaboration with writer Morgan H. Thomas. Together, they will be using their art to contribute to the scholarship of Southern American culture: reimagining the South as the South begins to reimagine itself.
