Call for Work: 2010 Annual
The submission date for the Ann Arbor Art Center’s 88th Annual: All Media Exhibition has been extended to Tuesday, July 13th.
Established in 1922, The Annual: All Media Exhibition has a long and rich history. Artists from all over the state of Michigan are invited to submit artwork in any media to this juried competition.
This year’s juror is Mark Nielsen, Director of the Slusser Galleries & the Intersections Program at the University of Michigan. An award-winning designer, Nielsen got his start as a production designer for stage shows for the Rolling Stones, and others, and then honed his skills at the U of M Museum of Art. He has also served as a consultant for a number of campus galleries, and shows his own work under the pseudonym “Uncle Art.”
Opening Reception: Friday, August 13, 2010, 6 — 8 PM. Exhibition runs August 13 — September 26, 2010
Gallery Talk: Friday, August 13, 2010, 5 PM.

Artists may submit up to 2 pieces of work for consideration. All submissions must be postmarked by July 9th, 2010. Awards include Best of Show: $500, Second Prize: $250, Third Prize: $100.
