Chris Landau: Salish Sea Lab

Constructed in British Columbia with local materials and support from the community, Chris Landau (MFA 2006) and Miguel Horn’s Salish Sea Lab installation will be installed until 2016 as part of the Vancouver Biennale. Landau’s animations and digital modeling helped to bring the project to life. At night, the 13-foot canoe is bathed in projected light. Virtual ecosystems, spinning stars, and breathing watersheds speak to the forces of change in our lives.
