Emma Bumstead: Michigan Athletics Graphic Design

In her first full year as the graphic designer for Michigan Athletics, Emma Bumstead (BFA 2011) has taken on an expanded role and has had the opportunity to design season posters for all sports, including football. Bumstead has had a direct role in creating and implementing a visual theme for the upcoming football, basketball, and hockey seasons — all stemming from their unique poster designs. Michigan Athletics is striving to create a more seamless experience for fans, so attendees of a football game will see tickets, informational guides, shirts, cups and mugs, and larger facility graphics such as column wraps and light pole banners of a consistent look and feel.
