Endi Poskovic Awarded U.S. Senior Fulbright Scholar Grant
Stamps School Professor Endi Poskovic has been awarded a U.S. Senior Fulbright Scholar grant for 2015 – 2016, the United States Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board announced recently. Endi will spend his Fulbright year at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, where he will research the formative years of the Krakow International Print Triennial, its origins and the role it played in the democratization of art and education in Poland, and internationally. In addition, Poskovic will collaborate with Academy faculty and students on the production of a series of lithographic prints and conduct a graduate seminar.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Program operates in over 155 countries worldwide. Fulbright alumni have achieved distinction in government, science, the arts, business, philanthropy, education, and many other fields. Fifty-three Fulbright alumni have been awarded the Nobel Prize, and 78 alumni have received Pulitzer Prizes.
