Exploring New Partnerships in India
Stamps Associate Dean Elona Van Gent, International Study Coordinator Sandy Wiley, and Associate Professor Cynthia Pachikara head to India this week to explore new educational opportunities with art and design institutions, including study abroad, residencies, summer programs, and internships.
The two week trip will include visits with close to a dozen institutions in both Bengaluru and Mumbai, as well as meetings with alumni and individual artists and designers. Cynthia Pachikara will also be making a presentation about her work at the Jaaga community space in Bangalore.
Funded by the Presidential India Initiative, this travel is part of larger project designed to increase Stamps engagement with India.
