Women’s Caucus for Art Michigan presents Eye on the D: Seeing Detroit with New Eyes, an exhibition juried by Detroit Artists Bethany Shorb & Cynthia Greig. Nov. 1 — 21 at 555 Gallery, Detroit.

The world is watching Detroit, join us as we explore Detroit through the eyes of 18 artists. Meet the artists during the Artists Reception on November 21, which coincides with ​“Third Thursday” events around Detroit. That night a new dance composition, ​“nature abhors a vacuum” by Christina Sears-Etter and Amy Hutchison will be seen at 7:00 p.m.. The show catalogue includes photos of all the work in the show and features an essay about the Detroit art scene by CriticCar’s Jennifer Conlin.
