Gabriella Boros: Exhibition and Residency

Stamps alumna Gabriella Boros’ (BFA ​’83) woodblock print show Reaching for the Spiritual recently finished a three month exhibition at North Suburban Synagogue in Highland Park, Illinois. Boros spoke about her work and influences on two occasions in conjunction with this show.

In April, Boros will be traveling to the Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Clermont, Kentucky for a six-week residency. Her proposal for creating ten woodblock prints highlighting ten significant Kentucky women was accepted and reserved for the 40^th anniversary celebration of the forest. The prints will be enlarged and made into six foot tall banners situated throughout the forest to encourage exploration of the vast acreage.
