Gabriella Boros Exhibits in Chicago Artists Month
Gabriella Boros will have her work in numerous exhibits as part of October Artists Month in Chicago. Her work will be part of Ravenswood Artists Walk at 1803 West Byron in Chicago on October 2 and 3 from 11 — 5 daily. From October 2 through 20, two pieces will be displayed in the show Migration at the Douglass Park Community Gallery, 1401 South Sacramento. On October 14 from 7:30 — 11:00 pm, several acrylic paintings Gabriella did collaboratively with Suzlee Ibrahim an artist in Malaysia will be on view at the Zhou Brothers Gallery, 1029 West 35th Street. This exhibit is part of Artists Respond Globally, a project intended to build artistic alliances world-wide. A work on paper that Gabriella is donating to the non-profit America Scores (helps keep youth-at-risk in sports) will be on view at the South Halsted Gallery, 1825 S. Halsted from October 14 — 29. Finally, Gabriella Boros will be one of the featured artists interviewed on Feminist Lens, a radio broadcast on October 23 on the Chicago station, WFMT 98.7 from 4:30 — 5 pm.
