Heidi Kumao Exhibits, Lectures

in New Jersey and Seattle, and Lectures in New York
New work by Associate Professor Heidi Kumao is part of the 2‑person show, “Inherited Traits: Nina Katchadourian and Heidi Kumao” at the College of New Jersey Art Gallery in Trenton, NJ. The exhibition, which runs from January 27-March 3, explores ancestral legacies including shameful secrets, shared biological characteristics, and family legends.

Heidi’s work is also included in the group exhibition, “Cultural Transcendence” at the Wing Luke Asian Museum in Seattle, WA through Sept. 19, 2010 . The show features the work of artists Robert Hodgin, Eunsu Kang, Heidi Kumao, Horatio Law, and Brent Watanabe.
