Holly Hughes Essay in Lambda Nominated Anthology

Here Come the Brides, an anthology of original essays by lesbian writers on marriage nominated for a Lambda Book Award, includes a new article by Holly Hughes entitled ​“I’m Not From Here”.

These national awards are given annually in recognition of LGBT writing in a number of categories, including fiction, memoir, poetry, non fiction and drama. This is Hughes’s third nomination; her 1999 collection ​“O Solo Homo” won in that year. She also served as a judge in the drama competition for this year.
