Taught jointly by faculty of the Ross School of Business and the Stamps School of Art & Design, the annual Integrated Product Design course challenges cross-disciplinary student teams to design, build, and market a brand new product, and then to face free market competition through the IPD Trade Show.
In addition, the student teams designed a product-driven solution that might for example help seniors in one or more of the areas of household tasks, hobbies, mobility, physical safety and health, mental health, and maintaining social connections.
Products are finished prototypes
No actual sales are made, and no money changes hands
