Jane Doyle Awarded

Jane Doyle, a 1943 graduate of the (then) School of Architecture and Design, will receive the Congressional Gold Medal for her service in World War II as a member of the WASPs (Women Airforce Service Pilots), an all-female civilian crew that flew non-combat missions to free up male flyers for overseas fighting.
