Jules Pieri Participates in White House Maker Faire
Jules Pieri (BFA ‘82), Co-Founder and CEO of The Grommet, is an invited participant in today’s White House Maker Faire on the National Day of Making, June 18, 2014.
The event features makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs who use cutting-edge tools to bring their ideas to life. In addition to the Makers who will be at the White House, people all across the country have been invited to participate virtually, online, in a Day of Making in their homes, schools, maker spaces, and communities.
As a community of makers, Stamps is committed to supporting maker efforts across the country, including the Ann Arbor Mini Maker Faire and as a finalist in the Knight Arts Challenge awards, with our proposal to expand Detroit’s Brightmoor Neighborhood community of makers by turning an abandoned home into a Maker Space, where neighbors can develop creative skills.
