Kayla Romberger: 2011 Gwangju Design Biennale

Kayla Romberger (MFA Candidate 2013), will be exhibiting in the 2011 Gwangju Design Biennale in Gwangju, South Korea. Kayla’s work includes a series of illustrations on government-sanctioned executions and a set of designs detailing the controversial nature of headscarves and body coverings. Both will be included in the Un-named Design section of the biennale. The biennale, directed by Seung H‑Sang and Ai Wei Wei, will take place from September 2 — October 23.
