Live Art Survey: Final Performances @ YES

Please join students from the Interarts Performance program’s LIVE ART SURVEY course for a final experimental evening of live art: Saturday, December 8^th, 7pm at Ypsilanti Experimental Space (YES).

Live Art Survey (INTERPERF 150) examines the history of performance art and experimental theater through a series of case studies and hands-on experiments. Students act as scholars, researchers, audience members, collaborators, and generative artists. By the end of the course we refine our ability to critically examine and articulate the work of other artists, while learning to take new risks and make informed decisions with our own work. The course concludes with a final public performance event at the Ypsilanti Experimental Space (YES). Taught by Emilia White, with support from the Stamps Inclusive Teaching Grant.
