Mayela Rodriguez Selected As NALAC Adovcacy Leadership Institute Fellow
Stamps alumna Mayela Rodriguez (MFA ’19) has been selected as an Advocacy Leadership Institute Fellow for the National Association for Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC). The Advocacy Leadership Institute is an “intensive, hands-on training that builds advocacy skills and knowledge about the role of government and public institutions in the arts field.” Mayela is one of 15 fellows selected from throughout the states and Puerto Rico.
The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures is the nation’s only multidisciplinary Latino arts service organization. For over 30 years, NALAC has delivered programs that stabilize and revitalize the US Latino arts and cultural sector by providing critical advocacy, funding, networking opportunities and professional development training for Latino artists and arts organizations in every region of the country.
