Stamps Student Receive Student Research and Internship Abroad Awards
The International Institute and the Rackham Graduate School have awarded $611,603 in support of research and internships to 174 students through 15 funding opportunities. Students will travel abroad between May 2018 and May 2019 to conduct research or serve internships in 68 countries.
Three Stamps students were awarded individual fellowship funding during this round:
Madeleine Messinger (BFA ‘19): Textile design internship at Zandra Rhodes in the United Kingdom
Rowan Renee (MFA ‘19): “Abjection and Queer Embodiment in the Arctic Landscape” in the United Kingdom and Norway
Laura Magnusson, (MFA ‘19): “Subaquatic Soundscape: Underwater Sound Recording” in Cozumel, Mexico
