Takeshi Yamada Exhibits at Wreath Interpretations
Stamps alum Takeshi Yamada (MFA 1987) recently exhibited a colorful sculpture as part of the annual Wreath Interpretations exhibition hosted by the Arsenal Gallery in Manhattan. Yamada has presented his work as part of this exhibition in the past, each time creating a new and original spin on the classic holiday wreath.
This year marked the 37th installment of Wreath Interpretations, which included work from more than 40 artists inspired by topics ranging from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to the bridges of New York City. The exhibition closed on January 2. For more information on upcoming Arsenal Gallery exhibitions, visit https://www.nycgovparks.org/art-and-antiquities/arsenal-gallery.
