Natalie Bultman: Lifting Anxiety & Depression is Heavy 2.0

Lifting Anxiety & Depression is Heavy 2.0

Natalie Bultman

Ceramic piece

Undergraduate
Informed by carrying the weight of someone else’s anxiety/depression, Natalie found it can be exhausting and heavy. Exploring the weight of anxiety/depression in Natalie’s partnership, she created this piece to portray the heaviness of anxiety/depression between her relationship. The small details on the piece represent the daily journey and fear Natalie experienced walking through challenging days this past semester. Trying to find consistency amidst change, Natalie found grounding practices like prayer time with God, journaling, time with others, and vulnerability to carry her through the pain, fear, anxiety, daily losses, and effects of lifting someone else's anxiety/depression.
