I designed these T-Shirts to sell and raise money for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization that “delivers vital reproductive healthcare, sex education, and information to millions of people”. With the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the rights for people who have female reproductive organs are under attack. I want to raise awareness and money for this issue, and an amazing organization. This design represents empowerment for people who have female reproductive organs, and are therefore affected by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The color green was chosen as it represents abortion rights. I want this design to spark conversation about this issue. I want people who are affected by this decision to be able to identify with this shirt, and feel a sense of urgency and inspiration to fight back. As a result of this project, I sold out of the shirts, and I was able to donate over $400 to Planned Parenthood.
