Plastic Abodes will engage sculpture, performance, and video to probe the bond between living bodies and nonliving environments and the porosity of the distinctions between those categories. By exploring the integrations of robotics and automation in some of my sculptural props I will be continuing the evolution of my practice – working Butoh backwards, as it were, from material towards body.
