Strings Attached is a series of 6 animations that explore the impact of packaged food on everyday social interactions. Each animation tackles a different subtopic, from divisive eating habits through cereal to evolving parental bonds through water bottles. Each animation is only 30 seconds long, imitating the format of commercials, the way we are most accustomed to seeing interactions over food products in media. While this project removes the economic incentive of this medium, it places these changes in the context of modern society in hopes to connect it to a larger cultural phenomenon.
