Through the process of conversation and collaging historical maps with found imagery, hand embroidery, and painting, this collection of repurposed garments reflects the identity of First Generation Americans. Wear Your Identity on Your Sleeve is a series of collaged “identity maps” incorporated into clothing that explores the way in which children of immigrants view specific places and their childhood in relation to their identity and personality.
