In this project I use rocks as a bookbinding medium to house personal stories exploring mental health and the complicated intersections between humans and their natural environments. With watercolors and ink, I deconstruct and reanalyze my experiences collecting rocks in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I urge you to pick up the stones that house my confessions—confessions of my weakness, strength, and mortality.
