On the Road features the five major world religions- Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam, ordered chronologically along the road. As an artist, I ambiguously created one road for these religions instead of a separate road for each. Even though there are so many different cultures and histories, the road connects us with each other. Where are we going? Is it the same place? Do we have the same ultimate fate?
The road itself is a symbol for our universal search for God. It leads to an area that looks like a sky but that area is also ambiguous. It can represent a heaven, God, or just the sky which is part of the universe we see at night.
