Description: This is the first portion of a year-long course that enables BFA students to synthesize their academic and studio work, beginning with an individually developed project proposal and culminating in a thoughtful, public presentation that demonstrates knowledge of particular issues, methods, and materials. Also required are a 1,500-word written thesis (~6 – 8 pages including illustrations and bibliography) (max. 2000 words, 10 pages), an online presentation, and a portfolio of your work. PREREQUISITE: Open only to BFA majors with at least 48 completed studio credits.
