Students are required to attend at least one exhibition, workshop, or lecture outside of class and to write a brief response. Clay projects are evaluated in group discussions or critiques along with regular individual progress meetings with the instructor during class time. Attendance, participation in group critiques, clay making, kiln loading, and studio maintenance are all integral parts of the learning experience.Frequency: This course is typically offered in both the fall and winter terms of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
