Stamps Professor Endi Poskovic, Witt Visiting Artist Nicholas Cladis, and students will discuss the communal nature of the Japanese papermaking workshop and demonstrate sheet formation using kozo and mitsumata fibers. Participants will make their own hand-made sheets of paper applying Japanese nagashizuki method Kozo/​mitsumata fibers and tororo-aoi will be provided. This event is held in conjunction with ARTDES 348 Japanese Papermaking and Water-printing Course, Respond/​Resist/​Rethink: A Student Exhibition for Change, and the Arts & Resistance Theme Semester.
