Amanda Krugliak’s “State of Exception”: Featured Interview on PBS Phoenix Horizonte
Artist/curator Amanda Krugliak (BFA 1984) and co-collaborator, artist Richard Barnes, were featured on PBS Phoenix’s Horizonte, regarding their residency and exhibition “State of Exception,” at Arizona State University Museum.
The nationally recognized exhibition originated at the University of Michigan Institute for the Humanities, and has also been shown at MOCAD Detroit. Based upon the research of UM anthropologist Jason De Leon, the conceptual exhibition considers objects left in the desert by undocumented migrants and what they tell us about this particular migration and our collective human experience.
The exhibition is on display at Arizona State University’s Combine Studios through August 1.
