Anneli Arms Featured in Sound & Art Exhibition

Work by Anneli Arms (BSDes 1958) will be featured in the 2018 Sound & Image exhibition, on view from February 3 – 24 at the Westbeth Gallery in New York City. Arms will present her ​“Music Muse” sculpture and two prints at the exhibition, held by the Federation of Modern Painters & Sculptors.

Instead of striving to create hyper-realistic art, Arms prefers to explore life’s bigger questions through her work. Early in her career, she was influenced by events such as the Vietnam War, raising her son, and the fledgling space program, all of which compelled her to ask, ​“What is life all about?”
