Dr. Deepa Butoliya Presents at KCAD DEI Speaker Series
Stamps Assistant Professor Dr. Deepa Butoliya gave a talk titled Marginal Designerly practices from the Global South on March 9th, 2021 at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. Dr. Butoliya’s talk was part of KCAD’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Brown Bag Series, where speakers share their experiences and learn together. The series has also hosted Dr. David Pilgrim, FSU VP of Diversity and Inclusion and Founder of the Jim Crow Museum, who discussed racial imagery; Mark Washington, Grand Rapids City Manager, who shared a presentation on city government, equity, and the arts; and Ana Ramirez-Saenz, Founder and CEO of LaFuente Consulting, who spoke about how to create an inclusive virtual community.
