Ernestine Ruben: Open Studio at MANA

Stamps alumna Ernestine Ruben (B.S. Des. 1953) will be having an Open Studio as part of the Spring Open House at MANA Contemporary on Sunday, May 3^rd from 1 — 6 pm. Her studio and gallery are located in Studio 421 on the 4^th floor of MANA’s main building at 888 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ

Ernestine Ruben’s life has been focused on art: growing up with it, studying the history of art, making photographs, and teaching visual arts at all levels. An internationally recognized photographer, Ruben work has been included in major exhibitions,museums and private collections. Her work is the subject of eight monographs and can be found in many other publications. In 2002, her latest book, ​“In Human Touch”, was named best photography book by the International Publishers Association.

MANA is located at 888 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306. Studio 421 is located on the 4^th floor of the main building. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the event will be provided every half hour starting at 12:30 PM from Milk Studios (450 W. 15^th Street, New York, NY 10011) and returning every half hour from Mana starting at 2 PM. Ample parking is available and MANA is easily accessible via the PATH train.
