Giving Blueday a Success for Stamps School of Art & Design
On Wednesday, March 16, the Stamps School community joined together in support of art and design students as part of the University of Michigan’s eighth annual Giving Blueday. This year was truly special; our preliminary results show that over 60 donors came together to raise more than $140,000 to support art and design education at U‑M.
The Stamps School received many generous contributions, including a gift from Susan Isaak (BFA ‘95) to support Stamps Engaging Leaders, a new peer-to-peer program created to increase engagement and community within the Stamps undergraduate community. A matching donation from an anonymous donor to encourage others to give throughout the day provided an additional $35,000 in funding for student support.
Giving Blueday contributions will provide critical support in a variety of areas over the next year, including the school’s annual Giving Blueday Scholarship, student emergency funding, DEI initiatives, and other key projects.
The Stamps Community is grateful to all who participated. Students shared their gratitude in the below video message.
