Gratitude for #GivingBlueday
On Wednesday, March 10, the Stamps School community joined together in support of art and design students as part of U‑M’s seventh annual Giving Blueday. This year was truly special; our preliminary results show that over 60 donors came together to raise more than $195,000 to support art and design education at U‑M. This total included two new scholarship funds which were established to support Stamps students with financial need. The Stamps School also received a generous matching donation from an anonymous donor to incentivize others to give throughout the day that provided an additional $30,000 in funding for student support.
Giving Blueday contributions will provide critical support in a variety of areas over the next year, including: scholarships, emergency funding, DEI initiatives, and COVID-19 Health and Safety.
As we finalize details and tally results, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have a community who comes to the aid of our students. From the entire Stamps School team to our supporters: Thank you! We are incredibly grateful to those who generously supported our amazing students. We couldn’t do it without you!
