Jennifer Metsker: Hypergraphia and Other Failed Attempts at Paradise

Stamps Lecturer and Writing Coordinator Jennifer Metsker’s new collection of poetry, Hypergraphia and Other Failed Attempts at Paradise, which won the Editor’s Prize at New Issues Press, comes out December 6. Her book explores her experiences with mental illness, particularly psychosis, providing insights into the challenges of living a life after a departure from the self. She will be giving a virtual reading at Literati Bookstore to launch her book on December 15.
