John Marshall: Whithervanes Longlisted for 2018 Dezeen Awards
Whithervanes, a “neurotic early worrying system” created by Stamps Associate Professor John Marshall and Cézanne Charles, has been longlisted for the 2018 Dezeen Awards in the lighting category. 171 projects across across the fields of architecture, interiors, and design were selected from more than 3,500 entries for the inaugural year of Dezeen’s new awards program.
The list will now be judged by a panel of designers and industry figures, including Benjamin Hubert, Paul Priestman and Mette Hay. The shortlist selected by the judges will be announced in August, while the winners will be revealed in a ceremony in London in November.
The winners of each category will also compete to be named design project of the year – one of nine Ultimate Design Awards, a top tier of accolades that will honour the most outstanding design talent of the year.
