Kat Hartman Appointed Director of Innovation & Emerging Technology
Kat Hartman (MFA ‘08) was appointed by Detroit CIO Beth Niblock to the position of Director of Innovation & Emerging Technology for the City of Detroit. She leads a team of developers who are responsible for managing the open data portal and developing interactive digital tools built with the same data. She also leads cross-functional data governance efforts and assists on address strategy to support Census 2020 preparation and outreach.
