Nick Tobier, Deepa Butoliya Present at Include Conference
Stamps professors Nick Tobier and Deepa Butoliya will present at the Include Conference, a biennial international conference that focuses on issues central to inclusive and people-centered design.The 2019 edition will focus on Detroit’s strategy as a UNESCO City of Design to use inclusive design to drive inclusive growth in the city. Produced by the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art, and hosted for the first time in the United States by Design Core Detroit and College for Creative Studies, the Include Conference will take place November 7 – 9, 2019 at College for Creative Studies A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education.
On Thursday, November 7 at 10:40 am, Butoliya will serve as a panelist at “Inclusive Design for City Systems” as part of the conference. On Friday, November 8 at 1:30 pm, Nick Tobier will co-lead a workshop with Brightmoor Makerspace co-founder Bart Eddy.
