Roland Graf: University Record Faculty Spotlight

Stamps Associate Professor Roland Graf is featured in a University Record faculty spotlight by Jeff Bleiler. In the article, Graf discusses the history of his Feldmark table, recently named one of 50 products that marks the history of the German design retailer MAGAZIN, and discusses inspirations and influences.

Roland Graf’s father retired in 2006, and the family wanted to celebrate the occasion with a small gathering in his native Vienna, Austria.

They soon realized they did not have a table large enough to seat the 12 people attending in Graf’s small apartment, so he followed his wife’s suggestion and did what he had done since he was a young child.
