Stamps Students + The Creatively Class of 2021
Creatively, a job and networking platform for creatives of all disciplines, partnered with the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan to select five students to be featured as part of the Creatively Class of 2021. The selected Stampers include:
Performer David Forsee (BFA Interarts Performance ‘20)
Industrial Designer Daisy Hall (BA ‘20)
Ceramicist Sara Kenward (BFA ‘21)
Designer Yuki Obayashi (BFA ‘21)
Illustrator Seth St. Pierre (BA ‘21)
“I’m excited to help shine a spotlight on the Stampers selected for the Creatively Class of 2021 — and for the visibility that all Stamps students can gain from the Creatively platform,” said Veronica Falandino, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Admissions and Student Services.
Alongside Behance, LinkedIn, and a personal portfolio website, Falandino encourages Stamps students to explore the free Creatively platform as a space for meeting potential collaborators and employers. She has five tips for building a strong profile and getting noticed on the platform:
Upload a minimum of 3 projects
Upload your resume and/or work experience
Add collaborators to your projects
Be selective and focused on the discipline tags you choose (recommend no more than 4)
In the “Work Experience” section of your Creatively profile, tag Stamps when you post about your school projects to build an “affiliation” with the school.
