Brittany graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Double Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Japanese Language and Culture. During her time there, she worked as a Study Abroad Advisor, where she helped assist students in making appropriate study abroad choices and decisions, and planned events and programs for students interested in study abroad programs. She studied abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan, where she gained her certificate of completion in Japanese Language.

Brittany is currently the Assistant to the Director for the Penny Stamps Distinguished Speaker Series and the Roman Witt Visiting Artists Program. Her primary roles are working closely with the programs Director to support with administrative details, managing production calendars and travel schedules for artists, creating promotional content for events on social media platforms, and facilitating online engagement opportunities with program guests.

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys reading, drawing, sewing and spending time with her two Samoyed dogs, Anna and Kumo.
