Kit Parks graduated with a BFA from Stamps in 2015 and returned to the school in 2019 in the role of Fiber and 2D Foundations Studio Coordinator. In addition to managing supplies and equipment in the Drawing and Fiber studios, they work with students and faculty to realize projects in a range of mediums. They are committed to fostering supportive and inclusive studio environments -- spaces that grow collaborative communities and embrace the strange, inventive, and meticulous aspects of art making.
Kit lives in Hamtramck and enjoys contributing design, sewing, and photo/video documentation to the movement for environmental & social justice.
